It is very convenient to have a backpack with me wherever I travel. When going out and about for the day, here are some things that I bring in my backpack:

1) Water bottle
2) Rain jacket
3) Sun glasses
4) Tissues

Optional:
5) Bug spray
6) Sunscreen
7) Umbrella

A water bottle is very important, especially if you are walking around a lot and if the place you are visiting is very hot. You will need to drink a lot of water and may need to use the restroom more than usual (so be prepared!). Bringing your own water can save you buying bottled water, so you have more to spend on food!!!

A rain jacket is for just in case it starts to rain really hard. Depending on the type of rain jacket, you can use it to keep the sun off of you and cool down or you can use it to protect you from biting bugs.

Sun glasses are critical, if you are walking around in the sun. You will need them to keep the sun out of your eyes, so you are able to view the scenery without getting blinded in the process.

Tissues are good for when you have to blow your nose and there is nothing else clean to use. They can also be useful for cleaning up a mess.

Bug spray is optional. If you are going to a forest area, you should probably bring it. I seem to taste pretty good to bugs, so I always need it.

Sunscreen is also optional. You will need it, if you are going swimming or if you are going to be outside all day. It is a must take item, if you are easily burned.

The umbrella is duel-purpose. It can help you to stay out of the rain or stay out of the sun.

I bring my backpack with me everywhere I go!

Are you ready to get yours?
