Our third day of the Shimanami Kaido adventure was cycling on Omishima, one of the islands of Ehime Prefecture, starting from Omishimacho Miyaura.
From the moment you see the Great Torii from the Miyajima Ferry, your visit to this peaceful shrine island is a series of surprises and delights.
Our second day of the Shimanami Kaido adventure was cycling on the islands of Ehime Prefecture: Omishima Island, Hakata Island, and Oshima Island.
Our Shimanami Kaido cycling trip was after the historic rainfall. Luckily, our experienced tour guide turned last minute changes into delightful surprises.
We stayed in Onomichi, a charming hilly port city by the Seto Inland Sea, on our way to Shimanami Kaido, which connects the islands of Honshu and Shikoku.
