My Animal Crossing New Horizons Islander Marshal was the first camper that I invited to stay on my island.
Threre are a few different ways to get more islanders in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
One way is to go to nook miles islands. If you still have room on your island for more islanders, every time you go to a nook miles island, there will be an animal roaming around that you can invite to your island.
Another way is through the campsite. The thing with the campsite though is that you have to invite the first animal who comes to the campsite. It is possible that you could end up with an islander that you didn’t want.
After you have a full island, you can still get animals through the campsite. They will also play card games with you. If you win the games, you will get prizes from them. If you want that animal to move in then, just keep talking to the animal until there is an option to ask the animal to stay. However, asking them to move in means (if you have a full island) that one of your currently islanders will move out, randomly.
Another way of getting islanders is setting up plots of land. After getting your first new islander from the campsite, Tom Nook will offer you a new way of gaining islanders with setting up plots of land. This can also result in not knowing what animal you are getting.
I was very lucky when I got Marshal as the first animal at the campsite. At the time, I had no idea that I have to invite him or he would continue to stay at the campsite. I found out that I have to invite the first animal who comes to the campsite later.
Marshal is a really cute squirrel that likes to take selfies. He’ll occasionally workout and he calls me nicknames like hashtag and canapé.
Who was the first animal at your campsite?
